French married to a Peruvian, I have lived in Peru since 1999. I work in tourism and I publish maps and documents on Peru. As in all countries in the world, living here has its advantages and disadvantages. However, settling in Peru requires an adventurous spirit and great resourcefulness, unless you are an "expatriate", an employee of a large foreign company or a foreign civil servant, in which case life is easy.
