Location: POP – Porto Office Park, Porto
Contract Type: Permanent
Workplace: On-site
Schedule: Rotative shifts (24/7, including weekends) – 2 days off per week
Shift times:
07:00 – 16:00
14:00 – 23:00
22:30 – 07:30
Base Salary: €1,100 – 14 months)
Bonus: German Market Bonus up to €3,000
About the Role
We are looking for a German-speaking Content Moderator to join our on-site team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across a leading social media platform. Your work will help ensure that online spaces remain safe, accurate, and compliant with community and legal standards.
Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive and potentially disturbing content, requiring strong emotional resilience and the ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
Review online videos, posts, and user reports related to potential copyright, legal, or community guideline violations.
Assess and update content in accordance with client and platform policies.
Audit and validate content submissions prior to publication on social media platforms.
Ensure all deliverables meet the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Maintain a high level of accuracy and adhere to moderation guidelines.
Handle confidential data responsibly and comply with all data protection regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client products, services, and policies.
Profile & Skills
Languages:
German: C1 (minimum)
English: B2 (working proficiency)
Essential Skills:
Excellent computer navigation and PC literacy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Dependable, professional, and patient in all customer interactions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible with work hours, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent.
6–12 months of relevant experience in customer service, content review, or moderation.
Strong customer service orientation and resilience.
