About the candidate
As the Finance Reporting Manager I am accountable for all the month/quarter/year end communication, reporting packs submission and closing activities. I am in charge to ensure all postings are done appropriately as per IAS/IFRS, Statutory and JTI Global guidelines throughout all the ledgers.
Finance Operations: I am responsible to ensure the proper recording and analysis of Non-Core Sales which includes Inter Company (export) and Local transactions.
Accounts Payable: I am a CFO delegate to approve all kinds of payments including duty.
Stakeholder Management: I work closely with both local and foreign stakeholders to identify, resolve and streamline activities to achieve efficiency in process flows.
Fixed Asset Management: I am responsible to for Fixed Asset management. I ensure, the fixed assets balances are correctly reflected in SAP as per actual physical scenario, JTI guidelines and IAS/IFRS regulations.
From time to time I take part in solving/streamlining different issues/activities where necessary in collaboration with respective stakeholders. Other than my regular tasks I have participated in various Projects related to facilitating business requirements. Notable projects which I was the Project Manager were the following:
Project Shampad: This was a cross functional project and the first ever entity wise asset verification exercise done by JT International Bangladesh. The goal was to validate the assets existence, put asset tag of the asset and to ensure the SAP balances reflect the true physical asset scenario of the company.
GBS (Global Business Service) transition: This is the financial task transition to GBS Manila (shared service). I was the entity's "Change Agent" for this finance cross functional project. The goal was to transfer regular and repetitive tasks so entity finance has more time/scope to focus on core business finance and cross functional activities. This project has gone live on September 2023.
