Machine Learning Engineer - Thai Speaker

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our onsite team on a fixed-term assignment in Singapore for an exciting new AI project!

Role Summary

As a Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities include working with language data and creating, categorizing, auditing and improving lexical data. To do this job successfully, you need solid programming skills and language fluency in Thai.

You will be part of an onsite team with diverse skills and backgrounds, who will help brainstorm and find innovative solutions to complex issues.

Main responsibilities:

1. Work with language data and create, categorize, audit, and improve lexical data
2. Develop natural language processing code specific to Thai language
3. Provide input and suggestions in finding new approaches and new product features tailored to home market
4. Find innovative solutions to complex issues
5. Automate and integrate workflows from diverse systems
6. Daily interactions with other teams working towards the same goal

Job requirements:

1. 1 years of engineering experience in diverse technical areas
2. Proficiency in Thai language is required since you will work with Thai content (read and process documents, analyze and label data in Thai language)
3. iOS or Mac OS X development skills
4. Data processing knowledge
5. Familiar with Python and Shell
6. Experience with one or more version control systems with a preference for Git
7. Familiar with regular expression
8. Basic team collaboration skills (email, messaging, calendar, etc.)
9. Full-time onsite position

Education:

B.S/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, or related sub-fields is a plus
