Public transportation in Kiev

Im sebastiaan and from holland. I moved to Kiev one month ago after numerous visits.

here are my answers to your questions :

What do you think about the means of transportation in Kiev ?
- everything is there , train , metro , trams, busses , matroesjkas, trolley busses, only thing that during the morning is very crowded. but in general its a cheap way of traveling and i think also it is faster a lot of times then to travel by car .

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
- i think its ok , i also read that the metro network is being expanded. Also you can reach every point of the city  by public transportation

What modes of transport are available?
- tram , trolleybusses, busses, small busses, metro, train

Do you use them?
I dont have a car here , so i use it all the time to get somewhere

How much is a fare?
- bus:2 grivna small buss : 2,5 or 3 grivna metro : 2grivna

Are they relatively safe?
i think yes , with exception for the small busses , they are sometimes overcrowded, but as they drive quite slow i dont think it matters.

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Kiev?
