Even you as EU citizen can apply for a permanent residence only after you was living 5 years in Malta.

But for you it's no problem to register here and your wife can be registered as your spouse.

Hello,

Thanks. But dos she need any Papers from Paraguay? We dont like to fly to paraguay just to get some papers or can she directly move from germany to malta?

Thanks

That's not so easy to answer, since the residency system is changing at the moment - see also the forum's  main thread "New I.D. card rules"

Necessary documents are mentioned in the respective application form - but which one is the right one?

Hi seotrabajo,

it will be form F ! You apply for the residency of your wife as your family member (spouse).

See the supporting documents - ie marriage certificate ( if not in English needs to be translated.

As your family member she will be allowed to work in Malta but might need her professional qualification documents translated into English. Depends on what she intends to do in Malta.

You will need to show and prove your income and health insurance for your family here in Malta.

Quite straightforward ( in theory) -)))

Cheers

Thanks Ricky,

well the work she dos right now is take care of ours Kid :).
I would like to create some Companys on Malta. But what i am seeing right now, she dosent need any Papers from Paraguay. The Marriage certificate we have already , but we need to translate it to English.

In Austria I simply went to the "Standesamt" (where the marriage certificates are issued), asked them for 2 pc. "Internationale Heiratsurkunden" (with German/French on page 1 and translation in English and several EU languages on page 2) and received them after 5 minutes and for 6,- each ... it's an official document and cheaper than any certified translation.
