I'm an international school teacher who picked up a husband along the way. We started in Kenya and now it's Hungary. This is our journey.

Hi Jamie, AISB is a great school to work at. Honestly, I know I've only been here a few months, but I really love the school so far. The school recruits mostly through the CIS job fairs. My suggestion is that your husband apply to CIS to get a file ready with them and go to the London Job Fair in January (it's the biggest fair and at the beginning of the recruiting season). You can apply to CIS (Council of International Schools) online at: http://www.cois.org/ I would also suggest that he send his resume and cover letter to the school in November or December sharing his interest with a note in the cover letter saying he will be attending the London Job Fair or a different fair (they have some on the East Coast of the US as well), so the school knows they can interview him there. You can look up the correct principal on the AISB website and address it to that person. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers! Kim

Hi Kimberly, I just took a look at your blog and thought you would be a great person to contact since my husband and I are hoping to move to Budapest next year. I am applying for a Fulbright in Hungary, and my husband is a teacher and has been waiting for job postings to be listed for AISB before he can hopefully apply for a job there. I was wondering if you had any advice or insight about the application process at AISB? Thanks. -Jamie
