I have worked for myself most of my life. I came to this beautiful town in 2013 to start a business that was new to me. It was also a new culture and language. Needless to say, it was quite a challenge, but challenge is something that I've always enjoyed.

I was able to find help that I needed, starting with a translator. The business has grown and become successful by all measures. There were certainly setbacks along the way.

I am doing something that I enjoy, is wholesome for our customers, and it makes a difference in the world. Everyday, I think about that.

I might have made more money in the past, but this is certainly the most satisfying thing that I have done. I have great employees and of course, that makes a huge difference-I don't work hard. I focus more on who I am in the business and what I am creating.

I will probably be selling the business soon to move onto the next phase of my life. But for me, this has been very fulfilling.
