Hi, i will be working in malaysia on a year contract. I have learned about the tax rules and also that i will be given a VDR ie single entry visa with reference. So in that case if i want to visit india back for a week or so, whats the process, will the single entry visa allow me to exit malaysia temporarily and then re enter? Whats the process?

After arrival in Malaysia on the VDR*, the employer has 30 days to send your passport to immigration to get the Employment Pass sticker put into your passport. Then you can re-enter Malaysia throughout the validity of the EP sticker.
