Hi,
I'm interested in moving to Bulgaria & maybe opening a guesthouse.
Everything looks great with affordability and the beautiful natural surroundings, but I would like to know about the security situation with regards to owning property & leaving it unattended.
Has anyone experienced issues with this & is there any general advice please?

Hi Jamie
I have lived in Bulgaria for 11 yrs and while there can be issue's lf you fit alarms and get on well with your neighbours. I have not had a problem! I return to the UK for a couple of months during the winters
