No reason why you shouldn't apply; the details of applying for a self-employed work visa under the DAFT agreement can be found on the Dutch Government IND website; this link will take you there.

With regards to your license being recognised in Holland, I'd recommend you contact the "Nederlands Genootschap voor Sportmassage" (The Dutch Association for Sports Massage) and ask what you need to do for your current qualification to be recognised; their website and contact details can be found at this link.

I know this thread is a couple years old, but you sound like me! And I would love to know if you moved to Netherlands and started a massage practice and if you found any information about transferring your license.
