Santiago bound - July 2011

Hi all,

I thought I would introduce myself on here as I'll be coming to Santiago in late July. I am a newly qualified English teacher and will be looking for work in Chile. I have a few possible contacts, but no concrete plans for how long I'll be staying.

It would be great to meet up with some of you guys for a drink to help me get the lowdown on Chilean life (I have v. limited Spanish).

I'm 26, enjoy music, sport and socialising.

let me know if you fancy meeting up, or if you can offer me any tips on finding work as an English teacher.

Muchos gracias.

Phil

Hola todos,

I have now arrived, so if anyone fancies a drink somewhere in Bella Vista let me know.

It would be great to have a chat about ESL in South America as I'm a complete newbie.

Phil

unfortunatly  I live in concepción. so I hope you have fun in santiago! good night!

Hey Phil

whats sup... just a quick tips on whats on your mind regarding a job in Santiago, Chile. If is not quiet simple but not difficult compared to USA or Canada or any developed country. Life here is great and it does kick in many opportunities for careers. Your start off is with Wallstreet institute or British institute. They are well known in the chilean market. However, you may consider yourself submitting resumes threw many universities or colleges to give it a start. wages are not an A neither B or C but threw time you would be more wiser about the lifestyle and how to earn more after you settle and begin collecting contacts.

cheers Bro..

and good luck
