Heritage and notary

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine (without internet access) recently learned that she had inheritated from a small piece of land in Mauritius. She was contacted by a notary to inform her of that but also to propose her to accept to keep on "hosting" someone in the need in that house. Since the first contacts (more than one year ago), the dossier has not really moved despite a couple of reminders. .. so, here are her 2 questions:

- is it usual in Mauritius to have only one notary representing both interests oin a transcation (the seller and the buyer in case of an acquisition, the management of an inheritance with several parties etc..)? Or would you advise my friend to get in touch with another notary to make sure she is properly represented?
- should that be the case, could some of you advise a good and skilled notary? (ideally, (also) french speaking)
