Security check for husband visa

Hi,

I hope somebody got some knowledge or even idea how long it will take for husband visa security Check? Were been waiting for almost 2 weeks, and as we checked online status it's still under process, and we called the immigration it's in security check state of process...just wondering what kind of security check they're doing? I'm a filipina and my husband is from Serbia.

Dear Maria,

The security check procedure started earlier this year and from my own perception the only reason of delayed or late response is that it's new and yet in practice and definitely many foreigners are applying for Dubai through that procedure. Be patient and you will get the response sooner.
