I am planning to visit the Dominican Republic in the next few weeks. I am planning to visit Santo Domingo and Santiago. I was looking at the different bus transportation between the two cities. Just two questions. Is the metro bus and caribe tours reliable and is it safe to take the last bus of the day; in which case the trip will be in the early evening. I was just
concern if anyone has taken these buses in the evening
without any safety concern.

Yes both services are good and safe no matter what time of day you take them.
