I will be visiting Hanoi 1st time..can furnished apartments in Hanoi be rented out for only 1 or 2 months ?
Are there any suggestions best way to find studio/ 1bdrm furnished apartment. Retired 57 year old male preferring not to spend more than $500 U.S/ mo. Thank you for your help

For one or two months you could probably negotiate a deal with a decent, maybe two star, hotel. Then you avoid a lot of the paperwork, including registering with the police, that goes with renting an apartment.

Reach out to some local agents (through - for example - the Hanoi Massive Housing facebook page) and you may find a nice serviced apartment in that price range.
