Working in Links Plaza, best area to look for a flat?

Hi folks,

Could anybody tell me where would be a good area to look? Usual requirements, security, and a nice flat/location.

I presume you mean Links Plaza on Links Road, Nyali?

Depends on your budget, there are nice areas in Nyali, but accommodation there tends to be more expensive than other areas. There are lots of apartments for a range of budgets in Bamburi, Shanzu and most of all in Mtwapa. There are nice areas in Shanzu on the ocean side of the highway and Mtwapa near the creek, (the best area of Bamburi is Bamburi Beach but it is mainly hotels though there are a few nice apartment compounds)

Security tends to depend on the general location and the specific measures of the apartment or compound, the better the area, the higher the rent and security.
