Weekend visit to Thailand

I'm currently living in Cambodia with a 6 month visa.

I'm thinking about going to Thailand for a weekend and returning to get another 6 month visa.

I have been told that it's a simple process, no big deal.
However, various blogs and immigration websites state this requires quite a bit.

If you've crossed over / out of Cambodia and back by bus or van, what was your experience like?

hi systemnic....yes the process is simple just bring your passport apply for visa at thai embassy in Cambodia show min $500 in your bank acc and your all set ,,,purpose of your enter in thai and sawadee krap ,,,about bus yes there is bus crossing the border and they just make the stop by it also band and the trip will be around 10 hrs depend where your hit it ,,,good luck man.....
