It's nothing to do with your work history.
Check online and see requirements for your nationality.
It's an open welcoming country and most can apply online and many even on arrival.
Airport is not busy and people are helpful, just make sure you meet the requirements.
It's straight forward for most people to get a 2 week visit visa. Just be able to give them the address you will be staying.
