I use my laptop and have same problem on the PM system. As yet I have not tried to add a smilie to any of my posts.

Yes Pri, the smileys are not accessible on cell phone at the moment. Alternatively I just use the codes like
: D OR : ) OR 
Hey Stumps, the smileys seem to be working on the laptop on my end though.. both in PM system and threads!
