Hi guys,
new questions to help people arriving in Sofia:

- Where can I buy a bicycle?
- Where can I go listen for good live music?
- Where can I buy a monthly transport ticket (including metro, bus, tram and trolley if it is possible)?
- Is it me or it is very difficult to find Globul vouchers out of globul shops???

Hi Elsa,

I am Sweech.
I should be able to answer Q1....of your post, although i have just 'only'
started living here- 3 weeks exactly! but i do have some encounter with my bike!
Where do you live.
I don't think looking for a bicycle is so difficult a task huh!
Do you know there is an outlet mall, somewhere around Sofia Business Park.
Seem like they offer 'outlet' prices.

If you want more variety, you can shop around at the post communist bicycle
shops around Billa area. Those are rather low end- but pretty good.

BTW, do you work in Sofia? what do you do.

The metro station should have a place where you can buy a monthly subscription. As to bicycle, check out in Sofia Mall, or just about any sports shop will guide you. Also at the outlet shops like sweech76 advised.

How are you settling down in Sofia? I hope things are going well for you so far!
