Regarding Al Qurayyat

Hi friends,
I am a Specialist Orthodontist from India.
I recently cleared an MOH interview and got selected to work as an Orthodontist. The work processing ha's just started and the location is Al Qurayyat.
I would like some information about this place. ( lifestyle, shopping, things to do and not to do)
There is very resource online regarding Al Qurayyat, unlike Riyadh or Jeddah.
kindly let me know. Even small information would be of great help.

I have been offered a teaching position in this same location and have not been able to find much information about it either. I am wondering about everyday living, shopping and things to do but also the life for a woman there as opposed to a larger city or living elsewhere.  Hopefully someone will be able to help us out.

It is a small village in the north of KSA near jordanian border.
In general, all cities around the kingdom have the same way of life.

Small towns are very conservative, and may be a culture shock for an expat, especially from US.
But hopefully someone who is already there can give more insight into the happenings, and daily life

^ Yea that...and literally they have the smallest runway I've seen in my life, their airport is like a bus stop.

So concerning life, it's very boring over there, the nearest main city is Tabuk which is about 4-5 hours, I believe even Turaif is there too but too lazy to check online.

Lol @ airport is like a bus stop

Haha

Ok I think I exaggerated, not really a bus stop, but more like a bus station :D

one of my friend was there for a month, but for him that month was like an year !

I thank you all so much for this info. I rejected the job offer after reading your reviews.
I prefer the urban life instead.
