Laptops, harddrives and mediaplayers

Hi,
I guess I'll be arriving in Tripoli in the next six months or so.
I got a few questions about bringing laptops and stuff into the country.

I got several laptops 2 for work Win7 & Ubuntu (Linux) and 3 for my family, a mac and two dual boot Win7/Ubuntu. The work ones have Virtual Machines installed with several other O/S' (XP Win2k3/8 and Linux).

More to the point I have a number of external harddrives and a NAS Box that have a lot of movies music US TV and mp3's burned to them for the media Centers/Players. Its about 300 hours of video 500 hours of music

Does anyone know if there will be anyproblems bring this in country or thru customs or if any taxes will be levied?

Never had a problem bringing in a media server and several external HDD's - and don't even know if they even had a look.

Just hide your porn collection somewhere...

lol... who needs to collect it nowadays.
thanks for that

^^^ Eeewww!!!!! I guess that's how baby boomers role?

We hand carried the lap tops, 2 for me one for she who shall be obeyed, and shipped the PC and monitors / hard drives and printer. The agent cleared everything with out to much trouble took about a week to get permission from quote “Office of Security Release Authorisation for books/DVDs and computer equipment” but nothing was opened.

Go ahead man no one will even ask you, even if they do ask just tell them it's my personal belongings for work and stuff!
