Job opportunities

Hey I'm moving to Canada in a few months as a permanent resident, and I'd like to know where it might be easier to get a job in there, among the major canadian cities.
I already have a french bachelor degree in business administration from University of Quebec in Montreal, but I had to come back to my homeland for family reasons. Now after getting the PR status, I want to go back to Canada, but I need a job there, and one of my biggest problems is that I don't have a "real" canadian work experience.

Any advice, recommendation? I'm planning to land in Montreal, but I'm ready to move if I believe there's more opportunities somewhere else in Canada.

In the meantime, if anyone has an offer here, please contact me.

Thanks guys

Hi Ahmedmn,

I wrote a couple of times and have mentioned that one of the ways to find for jobs is networking. I know compared to back home (Malaysia) where jobs are more abundant, over here its different. It may appear scarce, but there's a lot of jobs that are not advertised online. Its the hidden job market. If you're settling in Quebec, find for not-for-profit agencies that aid immigrant settlers to connect you with networking events. I really don't know what they are in Quebec, but over here in Nova Scotia we have ISIS, http://www.isisns.ca. Then we also have http://www.greaterhalifax.com which helps to retain talents in the region. I really don't know the equivalent over there. But I am sure they ought to be. I found my job through a networking event organized by Greater Halifax.

I think it goes without saying that the first few months would be trying times and perseverance and determination would get you through it.

Good luck

Thank you for your answer. I guess the not-for profit agencies of Quebec are listed here cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/map/quebec-list.asp

Thanks again
