I'll be in Myanmar on August 17th, and intend to teach English. I am looking forward to my experience, and already have many friends from Myanmar that I have met in Thailand. If any of the forum members are ever in Mon state, feel free to contact me and perhaps we could meet and get acquainted!

I'm an American, living in Phuket, Thailand since 2003. My wife is Mon and she's ready to go back home, as Thailand has been challenging for her in many ways. I support her, and I'm ready for another change, as Phuket is becoming over-developed. We have a 4 year old daughter, Emma, who will thrive in a new environment. Looking forward to Myanmar!
