Hi all,
I am Australian, and have made several trips to Fiji. Have fallen in love with the people and the beautiful country!
I am hoping to live in the nadi area for at least a few months, and believe it may be difficult to find work. As an alternative I would like to volunteer ? Does anyone have any contacts at schools/orphanages etc, that may require help?

Almost any rural school here in Fiji would welcome volunteer help. It is more difficult to arrange while out of Fiji, but once you are here it will be easy. Have a resume /CV available.
Even simple things such as ingroducing primary school students to the internet would be appreciated.
I'm semi-retired and living in Fiji, doing a lot of business development training.

Just remember to come in on a tourist visa saying you're on holiday or you may find yourself haveing probs with immigration, as even volunteering is "not allowed".
