Hola Amigos!

Hi Folks, I am a retired UK Police Officer, who moved from the UK to Spain for nearly six years, where I lived in a mountain village and would never have moved, but for love! In January this year I moved permanently to Colombia, having sold everything I owned, other than a few boxes of clothes.

I was married in February, and now waiting for my house in Spain to be sold so we can buy here, there had been an administrative delay, which in Spain is never a resolved quickly

I won't say that the move to Colombia was a culture shock, but is certainly very different, my transition has largely been made an easy one, with much help from my wife.

I am learning new things every day, and look forward to reading your experiences, and if I can be of any help, I will happily try!
