Hi all
We are looking to hire someone to help clean, cook and care for our 2 kids for 3 days a week. Probably around 6 hours a day.
Can you suggest what would be a reasonable price to pay for this?

just give the minimum wage same from everyone since its just a part time. or talk the person willing to take the position thats depend on your agreement.

Minium Wage -> 9000 to 10,000 Pesos. While we were looking for an full time inhouse maid for our office appartment, I found that there are maids who were working for cheaper rates. But they were all working for Filipino family who could speak very little English. Since we were hiring for office guest house, we would pay them the minimum wage and ask them to take care of their own food and cooking.Since you are looking for part time, just go by the minimum wage calculate @ hourly rates.

Minimum wage at Metro Manila is 446 Peso per work day (of 8 Hrs.)
So if you are employing for 3 days a week, it could be 450*3 = 1350 Pesos.

Hi Tlc73,
The wages are cheaper in province than Manila.
For example Cebu, full time means 6/7 days and 10 hours per day its 2.000p per month plus room, foods.
Thats the minimal level and you can add gifts for special events.
Do you want a maid able to care and teach your kids, it will be more expensive and you can request BS education... and upper wages.
