Shoeshine boys in Paris

Hi all,

I'm about to live in Paris, and until I find a regular job there, I'd like to try shoeshining known for example in many US cities.
I was in Paris few times, but I've never noticed any guys doing this job. So what do you think about this idea? Is french nature opened to services like this? I'm considering to do it on place like La Defense, any big station, for example Gare de Lyon, or on an airport.

I saw one in the "La Fayette Galeries" on level two in the building connected by an overpass to the main building, just at the exit of the shoe shop area.

But I also didn't see any shoeshining done on the street.
