Hi everyone,

Just returned to dreary UK after a fabulous fun and relaxing break in Adeje with my daughter..I am now seriously considering changing our lives for the better and moving out there!! Have any of you any experience with local schools and how your children adapted to them?

We need to brush up on our spanish so would prefer English speaking for her but research so far seems only private paying schools offer this,

Any helpful tips? thanx

the state schools are ok here ,she is much better in one then a private english school,,,but there are NO jobs at all here ....i would say that 90 percent of working age brits have gone back ... but if you have a few euros behind you you can buy flats here from €25k and maybe you can find some work after a period of time ,,,but you need to have money behindyou
