Nop, no ban on downloads whatsoever.
However, some non-membership based torrent file delivering websites may have been blocked for browsing.

There are some very well managed & organized torrent websites that deliver almost EVERYTHING at very high quality. The problem is the sign-up option for membership is either not available or it's invitation based only.

yes eveningstar you can download through torrents...that's how I keep up with recent tv sitcoms and movies....no movie theaters here...lol.

Guys what's the difference with what you're saying "paid sites" to regular torrent sites like isohunt, piratebay?

I used it long back they will define your ip in their server and you cant access in different computers, the thing is you will see all paid software, movies etc ( you can find everything)

Paid sites means pay membership for t0r*ent site and get full access.

@ RedGoblin yup your right, there was 1 search engine only in China,  they were no 1 in china, so G00gle don't want them to do good $$. so the reason the top search engine in china was  banned and g00gle sued.
For one example: whatever search engine you owe when it comes to money you need to relay on G00gle for adwords etc etc. Even we had our own search engine later on it was banned. Surf BigDevil dot com

This was an old campaign in 40's from G00gle how to make money , for example if any person click for ad sense advertising link for viagra the V company will get 3 cent and the affiliate person will get 2 cent in there pockets, and read emails and paid emails 5 cents, this were old tricks now all its gone. only adwords ppc, bidding.
