Hi everyone!
So, We live in Italy now but my family is planning to move to Canada in the summer. I have 2 children (10 & 7) who don't speak fluent English. My oldest can have a very basic conversation but the 7 year old is not able to do even that. I have been told they will be put in a normal class with occassional ESL teacher help. Does anyone know, from experience , how long it will take them to become fluent? I shudder at the thought of them sitting in class clueless for a long time...
How long will it take for my kids to speak English?
