Hi. My friend is considering moving to Morocco in about a year or two. I think he said he is planning on working remotely, digital nomad style.
However, he has a criminal record from when he was younger (I think about 10 years ago). He has misdemeanor theft and trespassing on his Criminal Record in America. I know that when we applied for our residency here, Carte de Sejour, we were required to submit an FBI criminal record to the authorities here in Morocco.
Does anyone know if having a criminal record will prevent him from getting residency here on a Visitors Visa?
Any info will be a huge help.
