I'm new to the group, so apologies if it's on here somewhere.
We're just buying the house, so this is going to be a while in the future...but: Does anyone know the rough cost for building an extra floor on a house in Malta? Like, are the builders as overpriced as most of the buildings here? 🙂
It's 8m X 12m I think , according to the plans. So not huge, but it'd be nice in the future to build up a level, so we have a few more bedrooms. Then I can make my rooftop paradise! 🤔

there's really no ball park figure, and getting planning permission if you dont have it already can be years if at all
