Hi guys - I am just working out all my finances.

Can anyone please tell me if householders are offered several ways to pay the municipality tax (which is due every April, right?) or if it paid strictly by one method only. i.e. strictly cash only/strictly card payments only/strictly bank transfer only/stictly easypay only (whatever that is.)

Also, does anyone know if there are any plans to make this payment automatic in the future? So, each of us do not have to trundle to the municipal centre every April.

We were over last week and went into the local municipality in svishtov,they have it set up so you can pay in cash at the desk but also online with a username and pin code so even when we are not in the country we can still pay the tax bill as I can pay from my Bulgarian bank account.
Best to check with your local municipality to see if they do the same, hope this helps

Bank transfer and cash payment. Card payments are still not possible.
Automatic payments - probably not, but you can check with your bank, if they can arrange this. I doubt it ...
