Schooling options for grade 3

Hello, my husband and I are exploring our options and deciding if moving to Vietnam is the correct choice for us.  We have one son, age 8, currently enrolled in grade 2 in the Ontario, Canada school system. Wondering what schooling options are available to us? Does anyone have children enrolled at CIS? Does the school have trained educators with Learning Disability training?

Thanks for your time, and assistance.

Hi, we have an 8yr old in grade 3 in the Australian school system.
He is diagnosed as within the Autism spectrum but able to cope with the simpler school work.
6 years ago, we cancelled our plans to live in Vn as we felt he needed the facilities of a specific Autism school.
We checked many of the schools in HCM and found that they are ridiculously priced and had no abilities to teach a child that needed specific help and of course the language difference...
We now stay 3 months in each country and have discovered that there are many older experienced teachers who suggest that one on one tuition say 3 part days a week would be sufficient...
We would be happy if our son can read, write, add up and take away, it's not realistic to expect more but he keeps surprising us...
So, we feel that education is not the problem now he is older...
Regards, Mike

Thank you, this is helpful.
