Hi all

A great Indian Restaurant. Spice indian curry house at Cayhane Sok. 30/A GOP.

Cheers

mmmm i certianly do miss a good beef vindaloo.....

Yes I discovered that restaurant when I was in Ankara. And they deliver too.

Best spots to socialise in Ankara. Tunulli. Better in summer.

Panora Mall is a nice place where there are alot of restaurants and shopping options

Why not take a trip to Gordion, about 3 hours away, Fantastic.

Spend time in Ulus. Go up to the castle. There is a great restaurant in the Industrial Museum. They have Jazz on Sundays. Live Music on the weekend.

Oh don't forget Tunalli Lots of restaurants, shops and nightlife

live music in the castle is one of favorite, thx for to remind it:)

1)Park Street for the night activity and dinner; at Konutkent
2)Hayal Kahvesi: for the live performance with good foods but reservation requried. At Tepe Prime, right side of the Eskisehir road.
3)Kıtır: One of the oldest place in Ankara. Beer, oldies, baked potatoes and kokorec (Famous Turkish food). At Tunalı Hilmi Street just near the kugulu park.
4)Siyah Beyaz;Wine and cheese and rock'n roll lovers. At Sili Avenue. (this place is at zero floor and you can not see from the outside. So you have to ask someone persistently)
5)Ahlatlı Bel; Picnic area with green grass and trees. on the way of Incek (left side of the road)
6)Kalbur; Fish restourant At least 100 kind of appetizers and surely with a Raki. At Oran
7)Big Chef; Steak House. At Cukurambar
8)Cafe Des Cafes; most delicious espresso and kind of coffee maker in Ankara. At Tunalı Hilmi
9)Yıldız Aspava Kebap; Famous fpr special döner rolls. At Esat Street.
10)Your Home; Ankara is not good place to go out and do something. Most of the places (except above and some others) close at 23:00 and people back their home and sleep. Thats why Ankara called as officer city :))I dont know what is in English 'Memur Kenti' If you know cooking, have money to buy drink, have a music player or can play instruments, have funny friends, may be have small garden, you dont need to go out in Ankara. :):) I advise you to meet your friends at your own place or go out side the city. Especially villages of Bolu or north part of Turkey.

Have a nice dayssss

I'm still new here but up to now, it's By Pass Bar for erasmus students to meet up and beer up B-)

Tunali, Cukurambar..... I really like this one coffe place Kafes Firin - its a bit in the middle of no-where

nice info.
Thanks..

Hey everybody,

I liked ByPass bar, which was mentioned before(it is in Sakkarya) and Eskiyeni disco in the next street in Sakkarya also (Kizilay).

Quick China is cool place, where u can eat as much Chinese food as u can, but they moved a bit so google them (u need to make a reservation before u come).

I also liked Piano+, but it is not in the city centre I am afraid (but there was live music and very good service).

I was in Eskiyeni last night and it was good thanks Lemor, but still, By Pass is numara bir

Usually I go to Sakarya street with my friends and sometimes we go to Konur street or Selanik street.
Dikmen Vadisi(Dikmen Valley) also is a good place for relaxing.
And there're a lot of beautiful and natural places around Ankara.

New place to go: GAGAMANJERO, At tunus street dont forget to try Sangria!!!

Teppanyaki, at Cukurambar, most probably most expensive restaurant in Ankara, famous for far east dishes.
Have a nice meal!

If you are an art lover, you may want to join some organizations like exhibitions and jazz concerts in Cer Modern in Ankara. Transportation is easy as well. The place is pretty close to Sıhhıye Subway Stop. The website of the place is following:

Sorry for my poor English. My native language is Turkish. However, If you have any questions about Ankara, that would be a pleasure for me to help. You can send me pm.
