We are traveling to Ecuador in May and would like to explore the idea of moving to a coastal area. Any suggestions as to what areas we should check out? We would like to put together a plan as soon as possible so that we can book hotels and flights. Thank you!

Hi chech Esmeraldas area, when I visited there in 1999, it was a pristine beatiful area. It is however very hot and humid.

Yes, you are right! there is a beautiful beaches over there, Esmeraldas is a PARADISE, definetely!

Try to visit Agua Blanca in Ruta del SOl this beaches are very nice and you will find a beautiful local communities and Isla de la Plata that it is a mini Galapagos. Good Luck!
