For me its got to be:

1. Beauty of the islands - think flame trees flowering in January and the turquoise lagoon.....
2. The gentleman playing the ukelele at Raratonga airport really makes you feel welcome like you are kind of coming home
3. The friendliness of the people and just how laid back they are
4. Location might be out in the middle of nowhere but in today's world that has its advantages
5. All the trappings of modern life when if you need them but in a tropical island setting.......
