Hi,
My question is for Indians (or those with some Indian experience)...Which is the safest and cheapest way to transfer funds to India?
Also, which bank would you prefer to receive your salary in while in Ecuador and then how do you transfer that to India when needed there?

It does not matter what nationality you are but if you work in Ecuador and are paid in Ecuador and send money home you are taxed $55.00 US on the first $1000.00, and then 5% on everything after. If you want the money to go to India, or where ever, have the company you work for send the money from out of the country.
