I just thought I would start this thread because I am sure it would be useful to many people.
I maybe moving to Ethiopia soon. If I don't manage to find a job what could I do during the day?

You could read your favorite books at coffee shops that are plentiful around the town. You could also do fitness exercise or aerobic at gyms, or go swimming or playing tennis at Hilton. Alternatively, you could hang out with your own country women (or men). If you are interested, you could even learn the local language, which is Amharic. I am sure once you get here, you will find a lot of activities to keep yourself busy, if could not manage to find a suitable job that is. Good luck.
