Bottom line: the wife or nearest blood relative can pull the land from underneath you any time they want. The day you buy the land and home she can deny you access and the Philippine court will NOT help you. You are screwed! Buy a condo even though ... Read More

dont do it, dont go. yes they can take your daughter and there will be nothing you can do about it and the philippine embassy will not be able to help you. this may be their plan to keep your daughter there. Read More

WRONG....If he is indigent. The U.S. embassy WILL help him. They will loan him money for a ticket home and intervene with Philippine immigration to have his visa past due fees and fines lifted. He needs to contact American citizen.services at the ... Read More

If you have a falling out with your gf regardless that you have a legal lease I will almost guarantee you that she can find a way to take it from you with the help of an attorney. Remember, you are the foreigner. Read More
