About

I have been living in Malta for almost four years now. I'm a writer, formerly from the US. I couldn't afford life in the US anymore (esp the health insurance). Biggest worry was leaving my grown daughters, but we're working it out. Writing about all this in my blog: www.An-American-in-Malta.com. My new e-book is out: The Diary of An American Expatriate, published by AUK in London, and available on Amazon.com, iTunes, Barnes and Noble, etc. At first I didn't miss Americans; now I do and want to meet some like myself, especially those who have kids back in the US. Let me know what you think.
Interests: movies, Writing and photography, sherlock holmes, cats, collecting pottery, , egypt

Transport system in Malta by Rishikesh

Hi, I hope this goes to the right topic. How much is a taxi from and to Airport, one way? For example, one way from Spinola Bay or Balluta Bay? Are there any buses going to the airport? Any recommendations for taxi service providers? Thanks!

ilene

Hi Rish, Yes, there are buses that go to and from the airport. Taxis cost about 20 Euros from the airport to downtown Sliema. Read More
