I am the mother of 2 children aged 10 and 6. I recently returned from a 10-year expatriation in Türkiye. I really miss Istanbul for its eclectic side and its Mediterranean softness. But I am also happy to find myself in a green and magnificent natural setting. I left the big city for a life more focused on nature. As soon as I can, I go back to spend a few days in Türkiye to recharge my batteries with that oriental energy that I miss so much.

I lived on the Asian side of Istanbul, with my family. It was during this period that I had my 2 children.

I liked the atmosphere of the city, the colorful streets, the proximity to the sea, the Bosphorus, the tea rituals, the kindness and welcome of the locals, the culinary diversity, the nearby islands, the music, the local dances, the diverse and varied encounters
The city is dense, a lot of traffic, the air can seem very polluted sometimes, a cultural gap which can make work difficult

I lived as a child in this village in the middle of the desert. It nourished me for a very long time.
