My expat journey

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Continue my job as a sound engineer. Unfortunately, I don't know this market in Vietnam, but the country attracts me a lot. I am thinking of doing a tourist trip in 2012 in order to firstly see if I could adapt to the country, and secondly to prospect and evaluate opportunities in my sector.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Nice, France
Currently a self-employed sound engineer, I am seriously considering emigrating to Vietnam to continue this activity. For more details, you can consult my site: http://www.serious-sound.fr
A sound engineer for over 25 years, I have been able to use a number of systems, whether live or in the studio, digital or analog. I specialize in Yamaha digital consoles having been Audio Product Manager at Yamaha Musique France for almost 5 years. I was also able to teach for 6 years (2005-2011) at the BTS Audiovisuel in Cannes in the Sound option as a Contract Teacher (hence the 6 years...). I also master Logic Pro and ProTools on Mac, whether in sound creation or image editing. I'm also very familiar with the Windows environment, although Mac is my preference. I am proficient in written and spoken English.
After some 14 years spent in Paris to develop my professional experience, I returned to my native region of Nice. It is difficult not to like this region, even if the professional opportunities are less important.
It would be better to discuss it in person!

Hi guys. I would like to react to Jaitch's comments. Sorry to say Jaitch, and be sure I don't want to offend you, but it seems you're somewhat paranoiac! Of course you need to take some common sense precautions for your own safety and ... Read More
