@Paglaom I have never had any checks when leaving UK airports unless something new has been implemented I only ever show my passport at security when going through bag check, so will see. Read More

@Paglaom well I should be able to update in about 12 days as i have had to travel back to UK for family reasons and will be returning to Portugal soon with my AIMA receipt and Attestado de Residencia lets see if i get back in ok. Read More

Has anyone managed to get through to anybody at the (+351) 217 115 000 number in Lisboa ? Every time I ring it tells you to go to the AIMA site ? Any one else had the same issue.thanksTim

Yes I just applied for a DBS check and like I say went via the consulate to get a VFS appointment its a long winded process but did it all on my own without any lawyers etc, hardest thing was sorting out the accomodation side of things. Read More
