Bangkok is just too big with too many expatriates who do need each other. You won't make friends here more easily than you will in New York, Paris or other capital city. Probably more difficult actually. Read More

Jeans are actually not that easy to find in department stores. Thai people do not wear jeans, so it is only for foreigners, hence the high price. Same for MBK, although much cheaper, being copies. But still catering to foreigners only. Read More
