About

Hello French cousins. I am Quebecois. I traveled to Latin America many times in my youth. My partner is Colombian. I get by in Spanish. I plan to retire in a year in Colombia. I have just spent 6 weeks in Colombia alone to reconnect with Spanish on a daily basis and to be able to find my place and the procedures that that requires. I bought a motorbike and visited the country a bit. The experience was extraordinary. Before my departure, my partner had questions about my approach, but she was delighted to note that this experience allowed me to confirm with greater force my autonomy and my desire to live a peaceful retirement in her native country.

I don't have any big plans. I started being an English instructor following an invitation. They say they have difficulty understanding me because my mother tongue is French. I tell them that the difficulty comes from the fact that they only have the opportunity to practice English with the teacher whose English is far inferior to mine, and from the fact that his English is strongly colored by the fact that in Spanish all the letters are pronounced. I'm having fun, and they're happy of course

I fell in love with this little pueblo. I immediately loved the warmth of the people. As it's small, we see the same people again, so friendships are created quickly
