About
Hello,
Arriving from France 8 months ago in Ivory Coast, I returned in 2006 from three magnificent years in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. I'm here for a one-year renewable contract but to date, I'm not sure I'll continue the adventure here. I am extremely mixed about Abidjan. Dirty, congested capital where police racketeering is a daily occurrence. Abidjan has very little interest and don't trust the tourist brochure which praises the capital with attractive photos. None of that. The city is very dirty, poorly organized. Don't even consider walking around Abidjan. No interest.
I plan to end my contract and leave this country where, despite everything, you meet warm, often friendly and polite people. On the other hand, be careful in work or business where shenanigans and corruption take over.
Another thing, life is expensive there and I am a reasonable person.
Now I don't yet know outside Abidjan except Assinie 95 km east of the capital, between lagoon and ocean. Relaxing and friendly places where traffic jams, pollution and racketeering seem to not exist.
Interests: sport,
