I'm not in Thailand at the moment, but I've been there several times over several years. I lived there for 3 years, I worked there (legally), I studied Thai there for a year.....I speak enough to get by in everyday life and so I know the area quite well. I hope to return there soon. I love the country, I feel good there, I like the people...

After coming to Thailand several times, the first time was in 1977..., I finally decided to take the plunge and put everything on my side to be able to settle in Thailand. I enrolled in a school to learn Thai. My study cycle will last a year and I plan to use my free time to really try to find a solution to stay here permanently. Speaking French, English fluently and...soon...?? Thai, I hope to find opportunities to earn my living, even modestly, here.
I am a trained chef. I ran an inn-bar-caterer for 15 years in the Loire department (42). I was a community chef and I also spent several seasons as a chef. I also have a DEUG in economics.
The culture, the food, the legendary smile of the Thais, their kindness, the landscapes.
